weather is finally changing here in Petaluma

What a fabulous year 2024 has been! We opened our doors in July for our first group show, Ephemeral. With over fifty artists and over 100 artworks it was a wonderful, albeit large, debut! This was followed by two more group shows and four solo exhibits, each one making us incredibly proud to do what we do. September saw a new look for the gallery with the addition of five gallery walls allowing even more space to show the art we love.
We saw our dreams come true this year; to open a business as a couple is something we had long imagined but weren’t sure it would ever be possible. Thank you to the artists who contributed their hearts and souls to every piece- we couldn’t do this without you. And a big thank you also to the collectors, visitors, and social media followers who liked, shared, and appreciated our posts.
We already can’t wait to come back next year! On February 21st our doors will open once again for three exciting exhibits: Roots, our fourth group show, a solo from local artist Rhea O’Neill, and a solo from Australian artist Tammy Whitworth! Roots hopes to give a visual journey through the connections we have to nature and the shared experiences we have as human beings. Both Rhea’s and Tammy’s solos will give a unique insight into the world around us. From what we’ve seen so far, it’s going to be a spectacular opening night!
So mark your calendars for Friday, February 21st from 5-9pm and be sure to join us for celebratory beverages and great art- and great conversation. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a safe new year! Thank you for making 2024 such a special one!

The weather is finally changing here in Petaluma. The 90° days are making way into cooler nights and more mild fall weather. That means one thing in Old Downtown Petaluma- the holidays are almost here! Although perhaps not as busy as the summer nights, holidays in Petaluma are a beautiful sight and we have just the exhibit to prepare you for the holiday season.

Gems, our first annual small works show, will open next week, November 8th with opening night celebrations starting at the usual 5pm and running until 9pm. Over forty artists have contributed to this exhibit that will bring over sixty new original paintings and sculptures to the gallery, all under 16” and most under 10”.

These Gems make great holiday gifts with most pieces being under $800 and many being under $500. Want to do something nice for yourself instead? They also make for a great way to start an art collection! Either way, we have truly fallen in love with all these small wonders and know you will, too.

Do to the large size of this exhibit, presales have begun so check out the Gems tab on our website and have a look at what’s available. Any adopted works will ship late December at the exhibit’s close.

Come visit us again soon for our next blog when we talk about the two solo shows opening alongside Gems: Fluent from California-based artist Laura Leigh and What Lingers from Toronto-based artist Keight MacLean. Have a great week and we hope to see you next Friday!
