Hello world! Welcome to Nanny Goat Gallery.

What a fabulous year 2024 has been! We opened our doors in July for our first group show, Ephemeral. With over fifty artists and over 100 artworks it was a wonderful, albeit large, debut! This was followed by two more group shows and four solo exhibits, each one making us incredibly proud to do what we do. September saw a new look for the gallery with the addition of five gallery walls allowing even more space to show the art we love.
We saw our dreams come true this year; to open a business as a couple is something we had long imagined but weren’t sure it would ever be possible. Thank you to the artists who contributed their hearts and souls to every piece- we couldn’t do this without you. And a big thank you also to the collectors, visitors, and social media followers who liked, shared, and appreciated our posts.
We already can’t wait to come back next year! On February 21st our doors will open once again for three exciting exhibits: Roots, our fourth group show, a solo from local artist Rhea O’Neill, and a solo from Australian artist Tammy Whitworth! Roots hopes to give a visual journey through the connections we have to nature and the shared experiences we have as human beings. Both Rhea’s and Tammy’s solos will give a unique insight into the world around us. From what we’ve seen so far, it’s going to be a spectacular opening night!
So mark your calendars for Friday, February 21st from 5-9pm and be sure to join us for celebratory beverages and great art- and great conversation. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a safe new year! Thank you for making 2024 such a special one!

Hello, all! Welcome to Nanny Goat Gallery, the quirky, beautiful art gallery in the heart of Old Downtown Petaluma (about 30 miles north of San Francisco). It is within the walls of this 19th century building that we aim to bring you the best in narrative, surreal, and fantasy art.

Nanny Goat Gallery Remodel

Upcoming Remodel

These days we have been making some very exciting changes to the look of Nanny Goat. Opening night, July 12th, for Ephemeral was wonderful with a great turn out and lots of positive feedback.

However, it was our original intention to add a touch of modern to the antique feel of the space by bringing in additional white gallery walls. To balance out the modernity, we are also adding more antique furniture. You’ll notice our overall aesthetic nurtures the rustic feel of the Gold Rush-era building in which we reside. Contemporary art really pops against these brick and stone walls!
